Taking the train to Twickenham
Twickenham Stadium is at the heart of English rugby, and is host to all of national rugby union's home matches.
With a capacity of 82,000, Twickenham is:
The world's largest rugby union stadium.
The UK's second largest stadium, behind Wembley Stadium.
Europe's fourth largest stadium, behind Spain's Camp Nou, Wembley Stadium, and Spain's Santiago Bernabéu.
Twickenham is also an exciting music venue, including becoming the UK's fastest-ever sold out stadium show in 2012 for Lady Gaga - 50,652 tickets in 50 seconds!
Other past artists have included Rhianna, Iron Maiden, and BTS - while 2026 will see Depeche Mode, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, and Eminem.
The stadium is known as the "Cabbage Patch", as this was the land's original purchase before being turned into a rugby station in 1907.
Twickenham Stadium is home to the World Rugby Museum, as well as exciting stadium tours - starting at £32 for a behind-the-scenes view, aadium, behind Wembley Stadium.
