When your things go on a journey of their own
Lost something?
Let's see if we can help you find it.
If you've recently lost an item on a LNER train journey or at one of our stations, we'll do our best to help reunite you with your belongings.
If you lost something on a train heading to any of the following stations; King’s Cross, Leeds, Edinburgh or Glasgow Central, or you lost your item at one of these stations, please search for your item here: Lost Property
To search for, and claim lost items from any other location across the LNER route, please click here: MissingX
Simply search and claim from items logged as found. If not yet shown, please Register the item and we will keep looking for three months for you.
MissingX is the provider of the LNER lost property database, helping to reunite you with your lost property. You’re far more likely to be reunited with your item by registering an online report.
Please note that LNER operates services from Inverness to London Kings Cross, therefore your item may be in the possession of another train operator depending on where it was misplaced.
Any items found are handed in and securely stored for 12 weeks at our Lost Property Hub in Newark North Gate. Items can be collected in person, or alternatively you can pay to have it couriered to you.
Was your train headed to Scotland?
If your train was on its way to Scotland (other than Edinburgh Waverley), any lost property will be handled by ScotRail. To locate your item, please visit their website: ScotRail Lost Property
Think you lost it at a station?
If you think you left your item at a station, we would recommend contacting that station first. Details of all the stations in the UK can be found here.
If you've tried the above and haven't had any luck, please contact us here.
