Sometimes we need to make the odd change to our schedule, for anything from engineering works to alcohol-free trains on match days. You can check if anything might affect your travel plans here.

Today's timetable changes Sunday 16 June

Reduced service to / from Wakefield Westgate from 23:15 on Saturday 15 and all day on Sunday 16 June

Engineering work is taking place between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Sheffield.

CrossCountry:

On Saturday, no CrossCountry trains are affected.

On Sunday, services will be diverted, and will not call at Wakefield Westgate. These services will be retimed by a few minutes. Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Sheffield.

LNER:

On Saturday, the 22:00 London Kings Cross to Leeds service will be diverted after Doncaster, and will not call at Wakefield Westgate. A replacement bus will run between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate.

On Sunday, trains will be diverted not to call at Wakefield Westgate. Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.

Northern:

Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Pontefract Monkhill.

Services between Leeds and Knottingley via Wakefield will be diverted via Castleford, and will not call at Wakefield Westgate, Wakefield Kirkgate, Streethouse, Featherstone and Pontefract Tanshelf.

Services between Leeds and Doncaster will run between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds, and services between Leeds and Sheffield via Moorthorpe will be amended to run between Wakefield Westgate and Sheffield only.

Buses replace trains between Edinburgh and Linlithgow / Falkirk Grahamston on Sunday 16 June

Engineering work is taking place between Edinburgh and Linlithgow, closing some lines.

Caledonian Sleeper:

The 20:26 Inverness to London Euston service will be diverted to run via Ladybank and Kirkcaldy, not calling at Gleneagles, Dunblane, Stirling or Falkirk Grahamston.

LNER:

The 09:40 Inverness to London Kings Cross and the 12:00 London Kings Cross to Inverness services will be diverted between Edinburgh and Perth. Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Perth via Falkirk Grahamston, Stirling and Gleneagles.

ScotRail:

Buses replace trains between:

  • Edinburgh and Linlithgow.
  • Edinburgh and Falkirk Grahamston.

Services between Edinburgh and Perth via Stirling will be diverted, and will not stop between Edinburgh and Perth. Customers for intermediate stations should use replacement buses and amended train services from Falkirk Grahamston towards Perth.
