Advance bookings from December 2018
Network Rail has advised that there will be a delay in publishing selected dates and trains within the LNER winter timetable which runs from 8 December 2018 to May 2019.
Although most LNER train services will be unaffected, it means we may not be able to offer bookings as early as usual for some routes and dates, particularly at weekends.
Weekday trains between December and May 2019 will be largely unaffected. For a very small number of late evening/early morning trains, you may not be able to book until around 6-8 weeks before travel.
Engineering works will be carried out over some weekends on our routes, and you may not be able to book until around 6 weeks before travel for certain dates and journeys.
