      What to expect when travelling

      When you're travelling on our trains during disruption, some services may be different, including timetables and catering onboard.

      • Passenger Assist​

        If you pre-booked assistance for a journey through LNER that has been changed or cancelled, then your Passenger Assist request will be amended - but we'll be in touch with you directly.

        If you booked Passenger Assist elsewhere, we recommend contacting them directly.

      • Seat reservations​

        If the train you are planning to travel on is cancelled, you may be able to change your ticket or keep updated on the latest travel information on our alerts page.

        If you are travelling on a different train, please make a free seat reservation on your new train and travel as close to your original booked times as possible.

        There is no industrial action at LNER.
