20% off LNER Advance tickets terms and conditions

  1. 20% discount applies to lowest LNER Standard Advance and First Advance fares, for travel on LNER services only.

  2. 20% discount can only be used by the recipient of a discount email, using their registered LNER email address.

  3. The discount offer is valid until 23.59 on the 28th day which falls after the birth date you registered. The expiry date is also shown within the terms and conditions on your birthday offer email.

  4. When selecting your tickets, the promotional fare will show as ‘discounted’. If a promotional fare does not appear, please change your search criteria.

  5. Most LNER Advance tickets can be booked up to 12 weeks in advance. For current availability click here.

  6. LNER travel is subject to availability and excludes peak travel dates: 13 to 31 December 2025, 1 to 2 January 2026, 14 to 22 February 2026, 28 March to 19 April 2026, 20 January 2026 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 1 to 4 May 2026, 15 to 21 May 2026 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 22 to 31 May 2026, 1 to 27 August 2026 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 28 to 31 August 2026, 9  to 18 October 2026 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 23 October to 2 November 2026, 12 December 2026 to 2 January 2027.
