eTickets are the new mobile ticket

From 1 November eTickets will replace the mobile ticket offer. Choose eTickets for flexibility, there's no need to activate your ticket and you can scan your QR code on the ticket barrier to zoom through the station and onto the train. Find out more here.

Travelling with an eTicket

If you’re travelling with an eTicket, make sure your phone has battery so you can show your ticket to a member of staff! If you reach your destination with a flat battery and your ticket trapped inside, you risk a penalty fare.

Changing your eTicket

If you need to change your eTickets, you can do so the same way you would for any Advance ticket bought on our website – just log in to your account and find your ticket in My Bookings, then follow the instructions.

Changing your phone

We all upgrade our phones for shinier new models or have the occasional accident, which from time to time means we need to change our phones. Don’t stress, you won’t lose your mobile ticket. Simply log in to the app on your new phone and then you can move tickets from your old device to your new from within your account. You can also remove your old device from your account if you wish.
