The closest East Coast Main Line station to St Andrews is Leuchars which is served by LNER.
Bus from Leuchars Train Station
Approximately 6-10 minutes
There are two regular buses from Leuchars Train Station that stop close to The Old Course at St Andrews.
Please note that the buses are expected to be extra busy getting to and from St Andrews so you may need to wait for the next service. Please factor this in for travelling back to the train station to ensure you arrive in good time for your return train journey.
The bus to Murray Park takes approximately 6-minutes and stops 0.3 miles from the golf course and is an approximately 6-minute walk.
The bus to Grannie Clark's Wynd takes approximately 10-minutes and stops 0.2 miles from the golf course and is an approximately 4-minute walk.
