If you’re going to Leeds Festival for the August 2026 Bank Holiday weekend, you’ll need to start thinking about transport to and from the festival site.
Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, near Wetherby in West Yorkshire, and is accessible by train, bus and car.

When is Leeds Festival?
Leeds Festival is held annually over the August Bank Holiday weekend, along with its sister festival in Reading.
In 2026, the festival is scheduled to take place from Thursday 27 August to Sunday 30 August, with the campsite open from noon on Wednesday 26 to noon Monday 31 August.
Travel to Leeds Festival by train
The nearest train station to Leeds Festival is Leeds train station. Trains to Leeds run from major towns and cities including York, London and Peterborough.
Once you arrive at Leeds station, festival shuttle buses run from Sovereign Square Park to take you directly to the festival site.
The shuttle bus will be in operation from Leeds train station to Bramham Park from Wednesday 26 to Monday 31 August. To book a shuttle bus please visit the First Bus website.
Alternatively, there's a taxi rank at the station, which should take around 30 minutes and cost somewhere between £25-40 depending on the route and traffic.

Top 10 tips for Leeds Festival travel
Early bird ticket holders can access the campsites from noon on Wednesday 26 August 2024. Weekend ticket holders can access the campsites from 3am on Thursday 27 August 2026.
Campsites close at noon Monday 30 August.
With a day ticket, once you leave the arena you cannot re-enter.
With a weekend ticket, you can leave and re-enter campsites and the arena.
Under 13s can attend the festival for free, although the event organisers suggest it is not a festival suitable for young children.
Campfires and disposable BBQs are banned from both the campsite and the arena - for the full list of what is and isn't allowed, please visit the official Leeds Festival 2026 website.
Bags of any size can be taken into the campsite, however only one A4-sized bag per person will be allowed into the Arena.
Only sealed soft drinks under 500ml are allowed - empty reusable water bottles of any size are permitted, with free water points located throughout the arena.
Cash machines are not available at the festival, and all food, drinks, and merchandise purchases will be cashless.
There aren't any official meeting points, so arrange one when you arrive in case you get separated later.
