      The Mercury Prize shines a spotlight on the twelve ‘Albums of the Year’, celebrating the most exciting music albums released in the last year across the UK and Ireland. This October marks the first time the event will leave London, heading to the North East to its new host venue Utilita Arena, Newcastle.
