How To Get To Marble Arch
The perfect place to start your London adventure!
Marble Arch is an area at the western end of Oxford Street, named after the instantly-recognisable 45 feet (14m) high arch.
The arch was built in 1827 as part of Buckingham Palace, before being moved in 1851 at the request of Queen Victoria, and expanded with water fountains and various public sculptures.
As well as being an iconic attraction in its own right, Marble Arch is a great starting point for many London experiences - including Hyde Park, Madame Tussauds, and a generous amount of galleries to explore.
And don't forget that with LNER you can add a London Underground ticket into your journey from any British train station, with zero booking fees!
Trains to Marble Arch
While there isn't an overground Marble Arch train station, there is a dedicated Underground station served by the Central Line.
Here's how you can take the train to Marble Arch Underground station from London's mainline train stations.
Directions to Marble Arch
Once you've reached Marble Arch Underground station, there's a number of exits depending on where you want to end up.
If you want to get up close to the arch itself, then head for a Hyde Park exit - there are plenty of benches nearby to regroup (and refuel!) before exploring London further.
