How To Get To Madame Tussauds
Take a selfie with Taylor, Einstein, Batman and more!
Comprising 3 floors, Madame Tussauds London has over 150 lifelike celebrity figures to take selfies with, and will take approximately 2 hours to experience.
It's home to the infamous Chamber Of Horrors, which started 'life' by recreating members of the French royal family and aristocracy guillotined during the Revolution.
You can even come away with a truly unique souvenir - a wax mould of your very own hand!
Here's some interesting history of Madame Tussard to get you in the mood for your visit:
Marie Tussaud was born in 1761, and created her very first wax sculpture when she was just 16 years old.
Tussaud studied waxwork under Philippe Curtius - inheriting his considerable collection when he died in 1794.
During the French Revolution, Tussaud was imprisoned and forced to create death masks of executed nobles and royals.
When Tussaud was 40, she left for the UK (never to return!), and toured her wax creations for the next 33 years.
London became the first permanent exhibition to bear her name in 1835, Madame Tussard herself dying in 1850.
The second Madame Tussauds opened in 1972, and today has more than 25 permanent attractions around the world.
You can find opening hours, ticket prices, and more on the official Madame Tussauds website.
And don't forget that with LNER you can add a London Underground ticket into your journey from any British train station, with zero booking fees!
