Hampden Park – once the biggest football stadium in the world – has been home to concerts, Commonwealth Games, and some of the most memorable football matches ever played.
How to get to Hampden Park
The official Hampden Park website advises against trying to drive to Hampden Park on event days, with no set-down points for taxis.
For non-event days, there’s free stadium car parking, as well as cycle racks at the front of the William Hill South Stand.
Hampden Park trains
Trains run from Glasgow Central station to both Mount Florida and King's Park train station – both around 17 minutes away – and from there Hampden Park is just a five-minute walk.
Hampden Park train times from Glasgow Central are regular and frequent, with main train line access via CrossCountry, ScotRail, Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express, and Caledonian Sleeper.

Once you get to Edinburgh Waverley you can take a direct ScotRail service to Glasgow and journey to Hampden Park!
Hampden Park travel by bus
First Glasgow operates bus services to Hampden Park from Glasgow city centre – services include the numbers 5, 6, 7, 7A, 34, 90 and 31.
Once on board, it’ll take about 30 minutes to reach Hampden Park.
