Nexus family and friends tickets

How to purchase

  • Create an account or log in with the email address @nexus.org.uk

  • Submit a journey search but remember, your discount only works on LNER Advance products on LNER services.

  • When you’ve logged in using your Nexus email after submitting a journey search, you'll be asked for your promo code. That's your pay number, so enter your full pay number, for example 123456.

  • When you have your search results you should see a selection of fares with the word "discounted" and a price tag icon. This indicated the journeys with discount applied.

  • Once you've selected your tickets and journeys, you'll see a "price details" link in your order summary. This will give you a detailed breakdown, under savings you should see your friends and family discount.

  • If you don't see "discounted" and the price tag icon or your discount listed in your savings, you aren't getting your discount, and something's gone wrong. Check your journey, your login and your pay number.

A few things to remember:

  • If you have any difficulties, get in touch here.

  • Each colleague receives an entitlement of 50 tickets per calendar year for tickets purchased at the discounted rate.

  • These tickets cannot be refunded.

  • Travel is subject to the usual terms and conditions of travel for Advance tickets.

Your friends and family discount will now work on the LNER app.

If you’re reading this on your phone, use this link to open the app and it will automatically apply your Nexus staff discount. You’ll then be asked to log in if you haven’t already, so remember to log in or register with your work email address.

Booking through the app will help all your friends and family to use eTickets – you just need to transfer the ticket to their Apple wallet or send them the PDF you’ll get emailed.
