Make the most of your discount and book a trip before your offer expires. Simply sign in to your account and the discount will be applied to LNER First and Standard Advance tickets automatically.

20% off LNER Advance tickets terms and conditions

  1. 20% discount applies to lowest LNER Standard Advance and First Advance fares, for travel on LNER services and connections only.

  2. 20% discount can only be used by the recipient of a discount email or homepage banner, using their registered LNER email address.

  3. The discount offer is valid for 14 days after the discount being added to your account. The expiry date is also shown within the terms and conditions on your 20% offer email (if applicable).

  4. When selecting your tickets, the promotional fare will show the word ‘Discounted’. If a promotional fare does not appear, please change your search criteria.

  5. Most LNER Advance tickets can be booked up to 12 weeks in advance. For current availability click here.

  6. LNER travel is subject to availability and excludes peak travel dates: 1 to 31 August 2025 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 22 to 25 August 2025, 10 to 20 October 2025 (all journeys to/from Scotland only), 24 to 31 October 2025, 1 to 3 November 2025, 13 to 31 December 2025.

  7. LNER Advance tickets are subject to availability and there is limited availability at peak times.
