St James’ Park Stadium has been home to Newcastle United since 1892 and is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, northwest of Newcastle city centre. With a seating capacity of just over 52,000 St James’ Park is the eighth-largest stadium in England and one of the largest in the Premier League. The stadium has a unique asymmetrical design with one half being significantly taller than the other sides.

How do I get to St James’ Park Stadium?
St James’ Park Stadium can easily be reached by car, bus and train. If you are travelling by train, Newcastle Station is the nearest train station and can be reached directly on an LNER train from London, Edinburgh, York, and Stevenage.
The nearest bus stop is Newcastle St James which stops just opposite the the stadium.
If you are travelling by car, St James’ Park is easily accessible just off the A167, A69, A184 or A68 depending on where you are coming from. There are two park-and-ride car parks from Newcastle Great Park and the MetroCentre or several local car parks which are a short distance from the stadium.
How to Get from Newcastle Station to St James’ Park?
Newcastle Station is only a short half-mile walk away from the stadium and takes around 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can get the Green Metro line from the station to Monument METRO and then an 8-minute walk to the stadium. Or you can get the bus from Newcastle Grainger Street which is a 5-minute walk from the station and takes 5 minutes to Newcastle St James which stops opposite the stadium.
