Tweaks to our train times
Sometimes we need to make the odd change to our schedule, for anything from engineering works to alcohol-free trains on match days. You can check if anything might affect your travel plans here.
Today's timetable changes Sunday 22 July
We expect a good service across the LNER route today.
Revised service between Glasgow Central and Motherwell on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July
Engineering work is taking place between Glasgow Central and Motherwell, closing all lines.
The Friday night service 23:53 London Euston to Glasgow Central will divert via Mount Florida and will arrive into Glasgow Central at 07:48 (Saturday morning).
There is no Saturday night service.
Buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Motherwell.
London North Eastern Railway
Trains will be revised to run between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross only.
Customers for Motherwell can use the replacement bus running between Motherwell and Edinburgh.
Customers for Glasgow can use ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street.
Glasgow Central - Lanark
These services are diverted via Mount Florida and will not call at Cambuslang.
Glasgow Central - Newton
These services will operate
Argyle Line services
Milngavie - Motherwell services will operate between Milngavie and Glasgow Central Low Level.
Balloch - Larkhall / Motherwell services will operate between Balloch and Springburn.
Replacement buses will operate between:
Partick & Motherwell (via both Whifflet & Hamilton)
Glasgow Central & Motherwell
On Saturday, trains will be retimed to depart Glasgow Central 10 minutes earlier than normal and trains arriving into Glasgow Central will arrive 10 minutes later than normal.
On Sunday, trains will run as advertised.
Trains between Glasgow Central and London Euston will be diverted via Mount Florida. Trains towards Glasgow Central will arrive at the station later than normal. Trains from Glasgow Central will depart the station slightly earlier.
Trains between Glasgow Central and Birmingham New Street will run between Carlisle and Birmingham New Street only.
