What if a Ticket Vending Machine is out of service and there’s no member of the LNER team to help a customer?
Customers will be able to purchase tickets for travel at a ticket vending machine, via our app, or online.
If there’s an issue with buying a ticket (eg: the Ticket Vending Machine is out of service), train operators have well-established existing processes, including allowing customers to buy tickets on board their train or when they reach their destination.
