What is the difference between a ticket and reservation?
A ticket allows you to travel on an LNER service subject to the Terms and Conditions of LNER, the National Rail Conditions of Travel and to the terms and conditions applicable to each ticket purchased.
A reservation is the allocation of a seat on a particular train. While many tickets include a seat reservation, you may need to make one separately (like if you had an open return ticket).
