What is a Self-Print ticket?
Self-Print tickets are exactly what they sound like - tickets you can print out yourself. When you choose Self-Print as your delivery method, we e-mail your ticket to you as an electronic pdf file. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it, which you can download for free from adobe.com.
You can print the ticket off whenever you like, and carry it with you on your journey like any other kind of ticket. Just make sure you don't confuse your Self-Print ticket with your email booking confirmation. These are emailed to you at the same time so make sure you know which is which. (We're making a big deal about this as we can't accept booking confirmation for travel and don't want you to be disappointed.) You'll also need a some ID when travelling to prove the Self-Print ticket is yours. Most people use their passport, National Identity card or driving licence.
Self-Print is available for travel on LNER Advance fares, on LNER trains across the route.
