What happens if I choose not to travel because of Coronavirus?

If you choose not to travel, whether you can apply for a refund depends on your ticket type.

  • Advance tickets are non-refundable. If you are planning to travel at a later date, you can rebook your journey and apply for a refund for the original journey, but an industry-wide £10 admin fee will be applied.
  • Flexible tickets such as Anytime and Off-Peak tickets are refundable up to 28 days of when the ticket expires if you have not travelled. There is an industry-wide £10 admin fee for refunds.

In some circumstances relating to COVID-19, the £10 admin fee can be waived.
